February 2, 2008 “2012 The Odyssey”
Due to popular request, we are showing this film again.
Yogini, dancer, author and film maker Sharron Rose interviews well-respected experts regarding the meaning of the Mayan Calendar end-date 2012: featuring Gregg Braden, Jose Arguelles, John Major Jenkins, Rick Levine, Moira Tim and Incan Elders.

 

October 20 “Pray and Serve, Amma’s Response to the Tsunami”
Seeing Amma act so effectively in an emergency context takes spiritual activism to an unprecedented level. Proceeds for this event will be donated to Amma. The Tsunami relief effort is still not done.

July 13 “Killowatt Ours”
Seen on Discovery Channel, this movie is the follow on to Al Gore's “An Inconvenient Truth” This documentary invites viewers to help build a net zero nation, by conserving energy to the greatest extent possible at home, then using clean renewable energy to provide the electricity used. Learn more:

June 8 “Ghengis Blues”
In 1995, Paul Pena, a blind blues man who played with the greats T-Bone Walker, B.B. King, and Bonnie Raitt became the first American ever to compete in an unusual contest of multi-harmonic "throatsinging" in the Tibetan Buddhist/animist shamanism tradition of the autonomous Republic of Tuva , wedged between Siberia and Mongolia . April 13 “One, the Movie”

This film documents the 2005 meeting of the indigenous elders from both North and South America at the sacred Mayan sites in the Yucatan, Mexico . Special Note: This is a fundraising event. Net proceeds will be donated to the Institute of Cultural Awareness for the elders' 2007 meeting, spring equinox (March 19-23) in Lake Titicaca , Peru.

In honor of the Ardha Kumbh Mela (which occurs in India simultaneous with this showing), this award winning documentary of the Kumbh Mela 2001reveals what happens when 70 million yogis convene at what is known as “ the 3 rd eye of our planet”.
